Privacy Policy

Catalina Gardens runs this website. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and how to ask us to see or delete it.

What we collect

Tour and assessment requests: your name, phone, email, who the care is for, care needs, preferred dates and your message.
Chat: what you type into the chat, including any name, phone or email you share.
News updates: your email, and your name and ZIP code if you give them.
Job applications: your contact details, the role, experience, certifications, availability and your resume if you attach one.
Deposits: card payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive your name, email, the amount and whether it went through. We never see or store your full card number.
Emails and calls you send us, and notes from our conversations with you.
Basic technical data: like any website, our host processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block spam. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address with form submissions.

Please don’t send detailed medical records through the website. We’ll go over care needs with you in person.

Why we use it

To answer you, schedule tours and assessments, and follow up.
To take and refund deposits.
To review job applications and contact applicants.
To send the updates you asked for. Every update has an unsubscribe link.
To keep the site secure and meet legal requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site: website hosting, email delivery and payment processing. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

No advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking pixels, and no tracking across other sites.
If you change the text size, your browser remembers that choice on your device.
Our staff sign-in uses a cookie that applies to staff only. Our host may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
The secure deposit checkout page is run by our payment processor and uses its own cookies.

Because we don’t track you across sites, “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals don’t change anything here. We treat them as an opt-out of any sale or sharing, which we don’t do anyway.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and tour records: while we’re in touch, and generally up to 3 years after our last contact.
Job applications: 4 years, as California employment rules require.
Deposit records: as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally 7 years.
News updates: until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and California rights

You can ask to know what we have about you, get a copy, correct it or delete it. You can also opt out of any sale or sharing, which we don’t do. We won’t treat you differently for asking. To make a request, or to ask anything about this policy:

We’ll confirm it’s you by matching the contact details we have, and we’ll respond within 45 days. Someone you authorize can also make a request for you.

Children

This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
